Kefalonia, the largest Ionian Island lies across the narrow sea from Ithaka and south of Lefkas island. A jagged mountain spine runs South to the highest mountain peak of the whole Ionian - Mount Nero. From the East side, beautiful pine forests run down to the sea mostly made of Greek fir trees.

The Kefalonia flotilla starts from the harbour of Aghia Eufimia, an ideal location from which to explore the southern most islands of the Ionian including Zakynthos and Ithaca. Starting further south and ahead of other flotillas helps us escape the crowds, permitting a more adventurous route and exploring destinations not found on other flotilla itineraries.

The Zante route heads south, to Zakynthos town and Aghios Nikolaos. The Kefalonia route takes us on a trip to the north and the west side of the Kefalonia island, exploring Vathi on Ithaca, Fiskardho, Assos to the west or Vassiliki on Lefkas Islands before a beach party in a beautiful wooded bay.

With longer sailing distances, this route offers those clients who are loyal to the Ionian with another challenge whilst still be able to enjoy this beautiful area that we love and know so well.
