Montenegro Explorer Flotilla 2024
A great Two country flotilla suitable for the more experienced crew, that takes in the very best of the southern Adriatic coast. The flotilla sails a circular cruise north of the spectacular walled city of Dubrovnik in Croatia and then a second week is spent cruising amongst the harbours and coves of Montenegro's beautiful Bay of Kotor, Bigova and Budva amongst others.

Itinerary
Saturday: Fly UK to Dubrovnik and transfer to ACI Marina in Dubrovnik for embarkation.
Sunday: Caftast (13 NM)- A short shakedown trip today, heading down to Cavtat. Plenty of time to see Dubrovnik old town from the water before mooring for the evening.
Monday:Zelenika (25NM)We make an early start from Cavtat after checking out of Croatia. Time then to make passage to Montenegro and check-in in Zelenika. Once checked in, it's a short hop to the lovely new marina of Melijne.
Tuesday:Kotor(14NM) Well protected and hidden in the depths of a fjord-like river estuary, The historic and atmospheric Venetian old town is crowned by the castle of San Giovani offering stunning views of the Fjord.
Wednesday: Kotor Bay Beach Party - Depending on the weather and wind direction, we've got a few anchorages in mind for our beach party today, with the 1000 metre cliffs surrounding the bay of Kotor as a backdrop.
Thursday: Tivat (8NM): Today is another short hop, to the beautiful marina at Porto Montenegro
Friday:Free Sailing
Saturday: Bigova (16NM): Time to head out of the bay and head south along the coast to the charming fishing village of Bigova
Sunday: Budva (12NM): The settlement of Budva dates back 2,500 years, making it one of the oldest settlements on the Adriatic Sea, with its own walled city
Monday: Lustica Bay (13NM): Lustica sits on the north side of this well protected bay.
Tuesday: Herzeg Novi (123NM): Herceg Novi means "New Town"...which dates from the 15th century! climb the steps for a stunning view and a well-earned cocktail.
Wednesday: Srebreno (25NM) Time to check out and say goodbye to Montenegro. We sail to Cavtat to check in, before mooring in Srbreno to the north.
Thursday: Kolocep (16NM) Another chance to give the old town of Dubrovnik a "drive by" and on to the peaceful island of Kolocep
Friday: Dubrovnik (14nm) - Join the flotilla crew back in Dubrovnik ACI Marina for a farewell evening meal.
Note: Flotilla routes may vary during the season according to weather and operating conditions. The flotilla crew will keep you fully briefed each day.
Important Note: For the Montenegro Route, 2 members of the crew are required to have skipper’s licenses – RYA Day Skipper, ICC or international equivalent as a minimum + 1 x VHF
*The Montenegro Explorer Route is a dedicated 2 week flotilla, enabling you to see more of Montenegro, exploring south beyond Kotor to Bigova and Budva amongst others. For alternative dates for 1 or 2 week options see Dubrivnik Flotillas.

Flight Information
Flight inclusive packages are available through Sunscape with departures on Saturdays. A choice of flights to Dubrovnik airport is available. All Prices in our flotilla price tables are shown without flights.You may wish to purchase your own flights or you can request a flight-inclusive package from Sunscpape Yachting. All flight-inclusive holidays booked through Sunscape are fully bonded for your financial protection under our ATOL 6899. A flight booking admin charge of £50 per person is payable at the time of booking,

The Sunscape Yacht Security Indemnity Scheme is designed to act as a Collision Damage Waiver. It allows you to claim back any deductions from the Security Deposit lodged at the Yacht Base for damages incurred during your use of the charter yacht.
