Dubrovnik Flotilla 2024
Dubrovnik is, along with Venice, arguably one of the most famous destinations in the Adriatic, and the coastline and surrounding islands form a perfect playground for a sailing holiday. The adventure begins in the ACI Marina, Dubrovnik, perfect for exploring the medieval town upon arrival or prior to your return journey.
The first week is spent cruising amongst the Elaphite Islands of Kolocep, Lopud and Sipan, each offering a sheltered anchorage in once a sleepy fishing harbour and now with quayside moorings adjacent to vibrant waterside cafes. Sailing on as far north as Korcula and Lastovo via Mijlet Island. Towards the end of the first week the flotilla sails south of Dubrovnik on to the colourful Port of Cavtat ready to set sail during the second week to Montenegro's beautiful Kortor Gulf with its many picturesque harbours each set against a back drop of steep mountain slopes that form the idylic sailing grounds of the Bay of Kotor.
One week flotillas sail either the Kotor Bay route from Dubrovnik or Dubrovnik route north taking in the islnds of Mijlet, Korcula and Lastovo (Weather dependent)

Itinerary
Saturday: Fly UK to Dubrovnik and transfer to ACI Marina in Dubrovnik for embarkation.
Sunday: Slano (14 nm) – Welcome punch party on the beach in this well protected bay.
Monday: Polace, Mljet Island (22 nm) – The Mljet national park offers much to do - explore the Roman ruins, or alternatively hire a bike and visit the salt lakes and the monastery.
Tuesday: Korcula Town, Korcula Island (15 nm) - Korcula town is famous as the birthplace of Marco Polo and is often referred to as "little Dubrovnik" - the walled castle on the shore is testament to the Venetians, who occupied this medieval walled city for 8 centuries.
Wednesday: Okuklje, Otok Mljet, The Mljet national park offers much to do – explore the Roman ruins, or alternatively hire a bike and visit the salt lakes and the monastery.
Thursday: Free Sailing – Mainland, island, marina, anchorage - all are possible on your free sailing day, just inform the crew of your preference and they will suggest a great stop for you.
Friday: Dubrovnik - Two week clients continue with a second week sailing to Cavtat before crossing into Montenegro to explore the Bay of Kotor. One week clients join the crew back in Dubrovnik ACI Marina for a farewell evening meal.

Itinerary
Saturday: Fly UK to Dubrovnik and transfer to ACI Marina in Dubrovnik for embarkation.
Sunday: Zelenica / Melijne (35 nm) – We make an early start from Dubrovnik marina and head to Gruz to check out of Croatia. Time then to make passage to Montenegro (35 nm) and check-in in Zelenika. Once checked in, it's a short hop to the lovely new marina of Melijne.
Monday: Kotor City (10 nm) - Like a mini Dubrovnik, this fortified town is only discovered when you have ventured up into the furthest and narrowest regions of the fjord. We dine ashore in the town's Venetian square under the ancient clock tower. The more energetic can enjoy the views after climbing to the castle of San Giovani commandng the approach to Kotor.
Tuesday: Kotor Bay Beach Party - Depending on the weather and wind direction, we've got a few anchorages in mind for our beach party today, with the 1000 metre cliffs surrounding the bay of Kotor as a backdrop.
Wednesday: Herzeg Novi (14 nm) We moor tonight in the town harbour, overlooked by the “New Castle”, which dates back to the 15th century! Climb the 300 steps to the old town, with breathtaking views across the bay.
Thursday: Free Sail Day -Early morning check out from Zelenika and back to Gruz. Opt for the new Frapap marina or the ACI for an excursion to Dubrovnik old town, or choose the small island of Kolocep to get away from it all.
Friday: Dubrovnik (14nm) - Two week clients continue with a second week sailing the Dubrovnik Northern flotilla route or continue on bareboat charter, one week clients join the flotilla crew back in Dubrovnik ACI Marina for a farewell evening meal.

Flight inclusive packages are available through Sunscape with departures on Saturdays. A choice of flights to Dubrovnik airport is available. All Prices in our flotilla price tables are shown without flights.You may wish to purchase your own flights or you can request a flight-inclusive package from Sunscpape Yachting. All flight-inclusive holidays booked through Sunscape are fully bonded for your financial protection under our ATOL 6899. A flight booking admin charge of £50 per person is payable at the time of booking,

The Sunscape Yacht Security Indemnity Scheme is designed to act as a Collision Damage Waiver. It allows you to claim back any deductions from the Security Deposit lodged at the Yacht Base for damages incurred during your use of the charter yacht.
